Why are my PDF patterns the same price as my printed patterns?

There are several reasons that I have made the decision to increase my PDF pricing to match my printed pricing:

1. The added time and cost involved in setting up and maintaining a secure website.
2. The time involved in converting patterns to PDF format; uploading and maintaining the files.
3. The time involved in assisting customers with any download problems.
4. Since I also sell wholesale, I don’t want to “compete” with my wholesale customers by charging less for my patterns than they do.

The convenience of having your pattern right away and not having to wait, or pay, for shipping should be a consideration when deciding whether or not to purchase one of my PDF patterns online. You also have other options not available with printed patterns in that you have the ability to store the pattern on your computer - if you loose your copy you can always print another or not even print it at all (saving paper) and reading the pattern directly from your computer.
